WHen you cap a skill do your heroes gain the exp you gain from capping?

Well, i can't be 100 percent sure, but I recall reading somewhere that they do, but I guess that only way of getting sure is having a hero level up by capping

No the won't get exp from elite caps, They will get exp from being in your party when you take a quest reward but not from caps.
